Silozor is a selective α1A-adrenergic receptor antagonist, targeting the predominant adrenoceptors in the prostate to relieve lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)—regardless of prostate size. It relaxes smooth muscle in the bladder neck, prostate, and urethra, improving urinary flow, relieving bladder outlet obstruction, and significantly reducing the risk of acute urinary retention and BPH-related surgery. Silozor is free from blood pressure alterations, ensuring safety in hypertensive and elderly patients, while restoring quality of life.
