Britapan DSR is a dual-action formulation that combines a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) with a sustained-release prokinetic agent. It is used for the effective management of acid reflux, gastritis, dyspepsia,and other upper gastrointestinal disorders where both acid suppression and gastric motility enhancement are needed.

• Composition: Pantoprazole 40 mg + Domperidone (SR) 30 mg
• Mode of Action: Pantoprazole, a H+/K+ ATPase enzyme inhibitor , reducing acid secretion and promoting mucosal healing. Domperidone, a peripherally acting dopamine D₂ receptor antagonist, enhances gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying by increasing lower esophageal sphincter tone and preventing reflux. Its sustained-release formulation ensures prolonged symptom control throughout the day.
