Febumore 80 contains Febuxostat, an oral, non-purine selective xanthine oxidase inhibitor, indicated for the chronic management of hyper uricemia in patients with gout. By reducing serum uric acid level, it helps prevent gout flares and tophus with continued use.

• Composition: Febuxostat 80 mg
• Mode of Action: Febuxostat present in Febumore selectively inhibits xanthine oxidase (XO), the enzyme responsible for converting purine protein into uric acid. It does not significantly inhibit other enzymes involved in purine or pyrimidine metabolism by blocking this pathway, it reduces serum uric acid level and decrease the frequency of gut flares.
